Student Leadership

At Marayong Heights, we believe in empowering students to develop their leadership skills and make a positive impact within our school community. Through the Student Representative Council (SRC), Student Leaders, House Leaders, as well as the Peer Support and Buddy programs, students gain valuable experience in teamwork, responsibility, and communication.

We offer a variety of leadership incursions and excursions that provide practical experiences and inspiration to help students grow as confident and caring leaders. Additionally, our students have many opportunities to support and engage with the wider community, fostering a strong sense of connection and service. We are proud to nurture capable young leaders who contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

Welcome to Marayong Heights Public School! As the new principal, I’m excited to join a community that values growth, connection, and continuous improvement. Together, staff, students, and families work ‘Ever Forward’ to create a supportive and collaborative environment where every student can thrive.

We are proud of our strong community partnerships that enrich learning and foster a genuine sense of belonging for all. At the heart of our work is a commitment to knowing, valuing, and caring for every student—supporting their academic growth as well as their wellbeing, confidence, and resilience.

Moving forward, our focus will be firmly on teaching and learning, with a commitment to high expectations, explicit teaching, and continuous improvement. We prioritise strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while offering diverse opportunities to engage and empower each learner.
