Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Marayong Heights Public School! It is a privilege to be part of a school community that is deeply committed to growth, connection and ongoing improvement.

At Marayong Heights, we pride ourselves on always moving, 'Ever Forward'. This is made possible through our strong and collaborative culture, where staff, students and families work together with a shared commitment to learning and success. We believe that by working in partnership, we create the best possible environment for our students to thrive.

We are also proud of the strong community partnerships we continue to build and sustain. These relationships enrich the educational experiences of our students and strengthen the sense of belonging within our school. Whether through parent engagement, local organisations or wider educational networks, we value the role our community plays in supporting student learning.

At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to ensuring every student is known, valued and cared for. We focus on the holistic development of each child, supporting not only academic growth, but also wellbeing, confidence, resilience and a strong sense of identity. Every student is supported to reach their potential and to feel a genuine sense of belonging within our school.

Aligned with Our Plan for NSW Public Education, we are committed to explicit teaching, high expectations and continuous improvement. We prioritise strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, while also providing a broad range of opportunities that support student wellbeing and engagement. Through the use of evidence-informed practice and ongoing professional learning, we strive to ensure every student achieves growth and success.

As a system leader, I strongly value equity and excellence. Every student deserves access to high-quality learning opportunities, and it is our responsibility to ensure that each learner is supported, challenged and empowered to succeed.

We look forward to welcoming you to our little school on the hill.

Christian Bade, Relieving Principal of Marayong Heights Public School
